Arsenal are reportedly set to offer Emile Smith-Rowe a new deal to fend off interest from Barcelona.
It’s understood Barcelona sent scouts to watch the 15-year-old play for the England Under-16s last week and the Catalan giants could move for the teenager.
But the Gunners rate Smith-Rowe very highly and are keen to keep the winger at the club so they are ready to offer him a fresh contract, according to the the Daily Mirror.
The teenager was the first player born this century to represent the Gunners’ U18 side and is being earmarked as a future star in north London.
